Cinnamon Tea

The idea of 'Cinnamon Tea' has emerged from the observation of the monotonous life of the first generation migrations in Canada, who work in the day-to-day jobs, restaurants, factories, and service industries. The generation, which lives in between the memories of their homeland and the uncertainties of the future at new Country.

Soliloquy

This short film provides an experience of a few minutes spent at a detention centre for refugees. In these facilities, people were held anywhere from a few weeks to several months at a time. The narrative is inspired by the experiences of real-life refugees who arrived in new nations in the midst of civil war.
